Kimberly Mills Kuhn opened her private law practice in 2012 after 6  years of experience in criminal litigation and appeals as an attorney with the public defender’s office in Broward, Pasco, and Pinellas counties. There and in her current practice, she has worked diligently to defend clients accused of misdemeanor, DUI, and felony crimes.

A Florida native, Kimberly attended The University of Florida, obtaining a major in Political Science and a minor in Criminology.  She continued to pursue these interests at St. Thomas University, College of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida.

During her time at St. Thomas University College of Law, she worked as an intern in the Florida Office of the Attorney General, serving in both the Civil Litigation and Criminal Appeals departments. Kimberly also secured a prestigious internship at the Third District Court of Appeals with Chief Judge David Gersten.  Her hard work earned her a full-time position at the 3rd District Court of Appeals upon graduation.  At the 3rd, Kimberly worked on civil and criminal sparking a keen interest in criminal appeals. Moving on to work for the Public Defender’s Office in Broward, Pasco, and Pinellas counties, she was able to follow her passion for criminal appeals and the thorough defense of those charged with crimes. An intense schedule of criminal appeal litigation beginning in those years has made Kimberly Mills Kuhn the experienced litigation attorney she is today.
